Foundation Doctor recently graduated at Lancaster University Well-versed in engaging with teens and children through work experience in primary schools and volunteer work. Attained in GCSEs: A*s in Maths, Further Maths, Biology and Chemistry Attained in A levels: A in Maths, A in Chemistry, A* in Biology I aim to be engaging and relatable for all types of students as I understand the challenges of achieving top grades in today's current school system. I believe anyone can improve their grades with the right support and I aim to provide this in full. Occasionally tutored friends for free during A-levels, held teaching sessions during medical school. Also have 6+ years experience tutoring ADHD and neurodivergent students. I will always prepare and organise tutorials in advance for a more effective session. I will establish with the student which topics they want to go through each week and and tackle the topics they find most difficult as a priority. My teaching style will be light-hearted and interactive sessions to make learning more enjoyable, with quizzes, as well as many pictures and videos online to go with the worksheets. This will be coupled with me explaining each topic step by step and a summary at the end of each lesson to check the learning of the student. I believe the critical factor for students to learn better and develop an appreciation for learning is to do so under less pressure and in an engaging environment
